WATCH PEACEFUL WARRIOR MOVIE
One beautiful quote during the movie is “There is never nothing going on” and it is up to us to make every moment count and make it the best or let that moment pass by. Warrior Action: At this moment think of the toughest question you are trying to answer and Start finding answers from within and stop relying on answers from outside of you. I want you to stop gathering information from the outside and start gathering it from the inside.” They don’t want you to find your own answers, they want you to believe theirs. This was one of the wonderful lines told during the movie - “ Everyone wants to tell you what to do and what’s good for you. Most wars we fight are not outside but within. Introspection of the world within leads to the interpretation of the world outside. The key to find the answer is not to seek the solution outside but from within. Most answers we find are short lived and we fall back into same pattern of challenges sooner or later.

We start asking several questions to the world outside and we do find the answers. Lesson 1: A Peaceful Warrior Knows That The War Exists Within!Įvery time we face a challenge in life we start looking for answers in the outside world. I had tough time handpicking five and I am sure if you decide to watch the movie you will have your lessons too. Honestly it was difficult to shortlist five lessons that I learnt from this movie. I suggest you read the lesson and take the warrior action. I have handpicked few lessons with few actions after each lesson. Here is how I have written this specific blog for you. While I do not watch many movies, this is one movie I personally believe is a MUST WATCH! I started to do this on this weekend, while I was at it, I discovered an old movie that I have been wanting to watch. In the midst of living our passion there comes a time when we just want to sit back and take some quick inventory of our life. My passion of serving people and helping them discover their true power has always been a driving force of my life. Upon learning of his passing, numerous allies and friends took to social media to express their shock and sorrow.I must admit that Life has been hectic like never before. Until yesterday, he was supporting the recently-elected FENAP leadership as a territorial coordinator for the Huasaga river basin. Later, he was also President of COBNAEP, the Binational Coordinating Body of the Achuar Nationality of Ecuador and Peru. He was elected as President of ORACH, one of two sub-federations under FENAP. He was one of the founders of FENAP, the main Achuar federation with which Amazon Watch works.

Over the years, Lucas served in different leadership roles. In September of that year, the company announced they would be departing from the region. The trip served as the capstone of a five-year international campaign against Talisman Energy’s planned oil operations in Achuar territory. In dozens of meetings and interviews, Lucas wasn’t always the main Achuar spokesperson, but his words held the weight of wisdom and integrity. He joined three other leaders on an advocacy delegation across the country, visiting Ottawa, Calgary, and the tarsands region of Alberta. Lucas’ 2012 Canada trip is emblematic of his leadership. Lucas was central to all those efforts over the last 25 years. Recently, they launched a lawsuit demanding recognition of their ancestral territory. They model low-impact coexistence with their environment, reforesting some parts of the rainforest while keeping roads out. They have sent many multinational oil companies running from their territory. The struggle of Peru’s Achuar indigenous people is an inspiration around the world. Lucas was last seen sleeping on the journey. As reported by his son, his boat hit a log and capsized as it traveled up-river deep in the night. Yesterday we learned that the long-time Achuar leader Jiyukam Lucas Irar Miik had drown in the Pastaza River, as he returned to his home community of Puerto Rubina. A wave of sadness has surged forth from the Amazon rainforest, washing over many who have supported indigenous rights in Peru.
